Onsite Inspection
We provide free of charge onsite inspections as standard for all our jobs. This allows us to assess the job and any potential obstructions/hazards. We are then able to provide an accurate and bespoke quote for the job. The site inspection also enables us to complete the work safely and efficiently whilst also ensuring that we bring the correct equipment to carry out the work.
Professional Consultancy
As highly skilled aboriculturists, we are able to offer expert consultancy, with regard to the management of trees in public parks and on private land. We are able to provide management plans and schedules for parks and woodland areas. We work alongside local authorities to gain planning permission where appropriate, including TPO application support for protection, management and removal. Our consultancy service can be provided to assess trees for insurance purposes and “Duty of Care” tree management to comply with HSE assessments in public spaces.
Health and Safety Assessment
This is a crucial part of all arboriculture work. As this is of paramount importance to us, we go above and beyond, by providing site specific health and safety assessments for every job. Our dedicated, in-house health and safety advisor, provides bespoke method statements for high hazard environments. Please see our health and safety page for further details.
24hr Emergency Call-outs
Emergency call-outs can be included within any of our maintenance and care contracts. We work alongside the emergency services like the London Fire Brigade to a “make safe” standard on all emergency call-outs, and clear out plans for biomass debris can be worked out on a case by case basis.
Root and Branch management
Did you know that in most cases tree roots grow as far as the spread of a tree! This means that the roots extend as far underground as the branches extend above ground. As part of our services, we can assess the extent of root activity and growth and we have the skills to manage roots underground as well as the branches above ground. Root damage to building foundations can be a major issue when large trees are in the vicinity of buildings. In fact, some insurance companies will not insure buildings where there are trees within 10 meters of a building.
Conservation areas/Tree Preservation Orders (TPO)
Conservation areas are protected by the town and country planning act (1990). We hold a responsibility to provide the local authority with full working plans on behalf of our clients, for trees that are in conservation areas that are covered by a TPO.
Tree and Stump removal
With our experience you couldn’t be in safer hands when it comes to removing trees of all sizes from any location. Depending on the location and size of tree, we will assess the risks and provide a plan to remove the tree from a precision fell or a technical dismantle. We can also remove tree stumps fully or by grinding them down with the correct equipment.
