Tree Felling
The felling of a tree is usually a task best suited to professionals. Our tree surgeons are fully licensed and qualified to fell trees. You may want to have a tree felled when it dies or when it is a danger to the general public, but sometimes a tree is just no longer wanted.
Tree Felling Techniques
The type of cut used will depend upon the location, its situation, and position.
Sectional Cut - in an environment with confined or restricted space, sectional felling is the most practical method to avoid collissions with surroundings.
Felling Cut - cutting at bottom with a directional notch can be used for directional felling, but when a tree has been infested, it is necessary to cut higher up.
Crosscutting - this will be necessary for larger logs and will be performed on sections that have already been felled.

Felling requires a great amount of care and precision - all of our tree surgeons are fully insured and qualified, so you can be sure the task will be completed to a high standard.

Clean and tidy
While felling can leave a lot of debris and mess, we always make sure the area is cleaned up and will dispose of materials where necessary.
